The PR2306 is the most versatile Hydraulic valve controller ( PLC ) with a CAN bus. This controller matches with almost all types of valves. It has 16 In -28 Out, operating 9-32Vdc, fully IP67 design and -40°C to +80°C fully operating.

The PR2306 CAN bus Hydraulic & I/O Controller ( PLC ) is a programmable and ultra versatile hydraulic control unit intended to manage most valve types as well as any inductive or resistive load. This unit is dedicated for application where high precision control is required such as hydro static transmission, braking system and servo-direction.  It can be used as a standalone unit or within a CAN bus multiplexed communication network.

The PR2306 has the capability to process 16 inputs for logical signal and even most known analog signal type. It has also 28 outputs and 4 of them can be used as source or sink which even allow “H” Bridge control. It’s also a powerful controller able to handle 40Amp nominal total Outputs current even at high temperature.

The PR2306 is designed to offer a variety of possibilities to drive proportional and standard valves. It can drive up to 3 bi-directional proportional closed loop valves (PVG style). It can manage up to 24 proportional closed loop valves in common mode, or 4 proportional closed loop valves in single mode with high precision current control. Moreover, it can be configured to drive up to 28 “bang bang” valves independently. All outputs are designed with smart solid state relays suitable for any inductive or resistive load and fully protected against short circuits. It offers many great functional capabilities such as pulse width modulation (PWM) for variable intensity control. It can even detect open load circuits.

This device has a sleep mode function allowing power savings with ultra low power consumption of 14mA and can be wake up from dedicated inputs or by CAN communication. This device is also featured with a programmable self shutdown control function, allowing you to choose the right moment for shutdown.

The PR2306 can communicate with the other CAN bus devices, such as diesel engines, transmission systems and more. It can get any available parameters, DTC and even sending special command to ECM or other CAN devices.

The PR2306 has an IP67 enclosure which makes it dust tight and underwater (immersion up to 1 m) protected.  In addition to be waterproof, it is also shock and vibration resistant. It is designed in accordance with SAE J1455, J1113-11-12-13 specifications.

The PR2306 can be provided with J1939 or CAN Open (301-401) generic firmware for slave application.
