The PR2305 CAN bus I/O Controller (PLC) is especially designed for automotive applications. It is intended in many types of applications where hydraulic valves, solenoids, lights or any other inductive and resistive loads are used. It has 29 In -18 Out, operating 9-32Vdc, fully IP67 rated design and -40°C to +80°C fully operating.

The PR2305 CAN bus I/O Controller ( PLC ) is a programmable and ultra versatile control unit intended to manage any inductive or resistive load and even hydraulic valves. It can be used as a standalone unit or within a CAN bus multiplexed communication network.  This is one of the most versatile and low-cost controllers available on the market.

 

The PR2305 has the capability to process 29 inputs for logical signals and most known analog signal types as well. It has also 18 outputs sourcing type up to 4.0 Amp and 6 of them can be used either source or sink which allow “H” Bridge control or bi-directional control. It’s also a powerful controller able to handle 40Amp nominal total Outputs current even at high temperature.

 

The PR2305 is designed to offer a variety of possibilities to drive load types. Moreover, all outputs are designed with smart solid state relays suitable for any inductive or resistive loads and fully protected against short circuits. It offers many great functional capabilities such as pulse width modulation (PWM) for variable intensity control. It can even detect open load circuit and over current.

This device has a sleep-mode function allowing power savings with ultra low power consumption of 14mA and can be wake-up from dedicated inputs or by CAN communication. This device is also featured with a programmable self shutdown control function, allowing you to choose the right moment for shutdown.

The PR2305 can communicate with the other CAN bus devices, such as diesel engines, transmission systems and more. It can get any available parameters, DTC and even sending special command to ECM or other CAN devices.

 

The PR2305 has an IP67 rated enclosure which makes it dust tight and underwater (immersion up to 1 m) protected.

In addition to be waterproof, it is also shock and vibration resistant. It is designed in accordance with SAE J1455, J1113-11-12-13 specifications.

 

The PR2305 can be provided with J1939 or CAN Open (301-401) generic firmware for slave application.
